Goin' green...

No more paper.

Called and canceled it today.

When I sat down this morning to five unopened papers and zero desire to read them, I knew it was time.

I can't tell you how liberated I feel!

I totally agree. I would like the paper in some respects, but it is just too much and I hate throw away all that.

LOL! That's wonderful! And I can totally relate. Newspaper is a good idea is principle I suppose, but totally impractical. A while ago I wanted to be more in the know, so I was subscribed to a lot of different NPR news feeds. Quite interesting, but the same thing. Every time I came to my computer, there were more articles there waiting for me to get to. Even just giving them all a cursory glance was taking up way too much of my time that I didn't have, and I found myself at the computer way too often trying to stay current with the onslaught. It became one more thing on my to do list that wasn't getting done. Who needs that kind of stress?! Not I. I had the same relief and pleasure as you have when I unsubscribed from everything. Now I go find news when I want it. It's been wonderful. Congratulations!

I feel ya. We don't get the paper, but we get those "free" ones that magically appear in the drive once a week and I don't even read those! Except on Halloween they proved handy for mess clean up!
