What a guy!
I bought Ben a book for his birthday --- a book we already had. Oops! He looked all through it with full interest for a number of minutes before he reminded me that we had purchased it three or four months ago.

That's hilarious. How nice of him. At least you know you got him something he really did want! :) Dead on! What was the book? Looks like a happy time. :)
It was the latest title in the James Gurney series on Dinotopia. They are picture books about what life would be like if humans and dinosaurs existed side by side.
I so relate to this post. I'm shocking myself lately with how utterly forgetful I am. (Anyone in there??) It's almost scary!
I was lamenting with Mom Cloward just the other day at the things that pass me by because I am just too tired to keep up. This was one more ... silly, silly!
